Flush Gas Station, For Use with HIR Pyrometer

The Delta Controls Model HFI provides a low, filtered purge gas across the process side of the HIR lens glass to reduce particulates from building up on lens.  The HFI provides a single place at the reactor where the operator can regularly monitor and verify proper operation of the flush gas stream.

  • Filter: 5 micron sintered polypropylene

    • Meter body: Aluminum with S.S. trim, or all stainless steel
    • Pressure Body: Zinc with S.S. trim, or all stainless steel
    • Connection Fittings: All S.S., 1/8” FNPT pipe or millimeter size tubing
    • Faceplate and Pipe Clamps: Steel, stainless steel optional
  • Supply Pressure: 25 to 250 PSIG (1.7 to 17 bar)
  • Supply Gas: Clean dry air or nitrogen

Applications

The Model HFI Flush Gas Control Station is used with the Model HIR Pyrometer, primarily in Claus Thermal Reactors. The HFI provides a low, filtered purge to the window of the HIR to keep particulates from building up on the HIR window.
